Boosting Immune Health! Overcoming COVID-19 With Food.

As the pandemic is prolonged, people are getting exhausted both physically and mentally. Since people are staying longer indoors than outdoors, Coronablue which is a compound word of Coronavirus and feeling blue has been created. However, some foods could help overcome depression and boost immune health.



Milk

According to many pieces of research, people who lack Vitamin D have a greater risk of getting depression. Since quarantine is prolonged due to COVID-19, it is recommended to gain Vitamin D by food. One of the Vitamin D-rich foods is milk. It prevents depression since it has much protein, calcium, and Vitamin D, strengthens bones, and even boost our immune health by promoting absorption of Calcium.


Tree Ear Mushroom

Tree ear mushroom contains 62.9 g of dietary fiber per 100 g and has the most Vitamin D among vegetables, so it helps prevent anti-inflammatory disease and constipation. It is recommended to cook with bean oil since it helps absorption of nutrients in the body.


Seaweed

Seaweed is a vegetable good for bones since it is rich in Calcium. Seaweed contains 43.4 g of dietary fiber per 100 g and has the most dietary fiber among edible marine plants. It helps discharge heavy metals in the body and circulate the blood.


Cabbage

Cabbage is planted every season and helps prevent cancer and constipation, circulate blood, and detoxicate in the body. It has 8.1 g of dietary fiber per 100 g and is rich in Vitamin U which protects the mucous membrane of the stomach.
