Recently Harvard Medical School researchers discovered that there is no connection between blood type and severity of the virus. However, the study did find that individuals who carry symptoms and have blood types AB and B who were Rh positive were more likely to contract COVID-19. It is also known that those with blood type O were less likely to test positive. Researchers are confident that there is no connection, and blood type should not be considered or stressed about when talking about the severity of the virus.
